The IDL compiler does not correctly unwind aliased type names (typedefs) in operation signatures if the alias is used as an out parameter. In this case, wrong holder names are generated in the mapped Javaa classes.
Demarshalling arrays of IDL long longs has a bug and always reads 0s.
For all problems: download a new idl.jar file and place it in your lib directory. Additionally, you may want to download the complete, updated source code for the IDL compiler. The latest compiler version number is 1.3.35 (which is displayed when typing idl -version.
For all problems: simply copy the Java file for the fix to src/org/jacorb/idl. Then type ant compiler in the installation directory to rebuild the compiler
Download TypeCode.java and copy it to src/org/jacorb/orb/TypeCode.java. Then type ant in that directory to recompile, and ant libs in the installation directory to rebuild the libraries.
Until we are capable of providing a bug fix, please avoid rebinding while the server is being restarted due to a request to the NameServer. Basically it isn't necessary to rebind, because of the ImR the "old" reference that is stored in the NameServer is still valid.
Unfortunately, we forgot to update some trader buildfiles. Download tr_patch.tar.gz, copy it to src/jacorb and gunzip/untar it. After that recompile the trader by typing ant in the trading dir and ant libs in the JacORB root dir.
Download idl-1_3_12.zip and unzip the archive in your JacORB installation directory. Then type ant compiler to build the new compiler.
Download jacotemplate1 and jacotemplate1.bat and copy them to JacORB1_3_11/bin. Type ant jaco in the installation directory JacORB1_3_11/bin to have ant generate the jaco script for you. In case ant complains that it can't find bin/jaco.bat to begin with (it wants to delete it before generating), just copy one of the template files to bin/jaco.bat.
